Dave Sedgwick – Founder & President, Datalinx Solution Inc.
Dave Sedgwick is the Founder and President of Datalinx Solution Inc. and brings more than 25 years of experience in the fleet, commercial, and retail automotive industry.
Throughout his career, Dave has held key positions with some of Canada's largest leasing and automotive organizations. His experience includes serving as a Fleet Account Manager with Triathlon Leasing, GE Capital Fleet Services, and Transportaction Leasing. He also established an outstanding reputation as one of Canada's top Fleet and Commercial Retail Sales professionals while working with Ford Motor Company dealerships and Nissan Canada Inc.
Early in his career, Dave recognized a significant gap in the automotive industry. Dealerships lacked a comprehensive Fleet, Commercial, and Retail Sales application that could help sales teams improve productivity, streamline operations, and increase profitability. Drawing on his extensive industry experience, he envisioned a solution designed specifically to meet the unique needs of automotive dealerships. Driven by that vision, Dave invested years of his own time, resources, and expertise into designing and developing a powerful vehicle sales application. Although the complexity of such a system had discouraged others from pursuing it, Dave embraced the challenge. What began as an idea soon became a passion, and he remained committed to turning that vision into reality.
During the development process, Dave was fortunate to work with dealerships that allowed him to build, refine, and test the application while serving as a Commercial Truck and Fleet Sales Manager. This real-world experience ensured that the software was developed by someone who truly understood the day-to-day challenges faced by dealership sales professionals. Today, I am excited and proud to share my passion with dealerships across North America and to play a part in their continued success.
