About Us
Datalinx Solution Inc. Founder and President Dave Sedgwick, with over 25 years of experience in the Fleet, Commercial and Retail Automotive industry. Previous Positions include Fleet Account Manager working for several of the largest leasing companies in Canada including Triathlon Leasing, GE Capital Fleet Services and Transportaction Leasing. Dave also has a proven track record of being one of the top salespersons in the Fleet and Commercial Retail Sales at a dealership level in Canada having worked for Ford Motor Company and Nissan Finance Inc.
Very early in his career, Sedgwick realized that the industry was lacking a Fleet, Commercial and Retail Sales Application that could be used by dealership’s, aiming at providing a sales tool to be more profitable and efficient. Sedgwick spent many years investing his time and money to develop a product that would help so many. Knowing the business, I knew what to develop as far as a Vehicle Sales Application. Realizing that there were no companies in the industry developing such a product perhaps because of the complexity of the application. It became a challenge and a passion for him. And he was determined to achieve his goal.
Over the years I have been fortunate to work for dealers that have permitted me to develop the sales application while doing my job as a Commercial Truck and Fleet Sales Manager. I am truly grateful for this, Sedgwick says. I have been able to sell, develop and test the application throughout the years.
